The EV charging solution that always charges at the lowest cost
Whether at home or on the go, with or without your own PV system: with the Fronius Wattpilot, your customers can charge their electric car more flexibly and intelligently than ever before.
The Fronius Wattpilot is available in two variants and power classes:
- Home – the charging box for fixed installation at home
Power classes: 11 kW and 22 kW
Installation: upright, suspended indoors or outdoors, fixed
- Go – the portable solution for on the go
Power classes: 11 kW and 22 kW
Installation: upright, suspended indoors or outdoors, removable and portable
Both variants offer sustainable charging with solar power or green electricity from the grid and support you and your customers in slowing down climate change.
This is e-mobility that moves everyone forward. Fronius Wattpilot. Designed to move.
Two charging modes for flexible e-mobility
Your customers can charge their vehicle according to their needs. The Fronius Wattpilot offers two charging modes that can be selected directly on the EV charging box or via the Fronius Solar.wattpilot app:
Eco Mode
The preferred mode for PV system owners. It ensures that self-generated solar power or the cheapest grid electricity is charged, if available.
Next Trip Mode
The Next Trip Mode is for anyone who wants to reliably charge their EV for a defined distance – i.e. kilometres – at a specific time. The Fronius Wattpilot intelligently and reliably charges the required amount. If available, surplus solar power from their own PV system or the cheapest grid electricity is used.
It doesn't get any cheaper: charge your own solar power
If your customers own a PV system, they are already benefiting from the ecological and economic advantages of energy self-sufficiency. As an EV owner, the Fronius Wattpilot significantly increases your customers' savings potential.
This is because the EV charging box can use any surplus charge from their own PV system to sustainably charge the vehicle virtually free of charge.
The advantages: Your customers save on charging, optimise the utilisation of their PV system, so that it pays for itself faster.
Optimal power distribution – with Dynamic Load Balancing
Whether with surplus energy from your PV system or with electricity from the grid – with Dynamic Load Balancing, you make the best possible use of the total available electricity in your household: With one or more installed charging boxes, you can not only charge your electric cars simultaneously, but also in an energy-optimised way. The required energy can be dynamically distributed and controlled across up to three charging vehicles. Your advantage: Both the performance of your PV system and the energy consumed in the household are taken into account. This saves high connection costs and also effectively prevents overloads to the house connection. And best of all: Thanks to Dynamic Load Balancing, you can set priorities and thus achieve even higher charging capacities.
