Dynamic Tariffs with Solarbank 3 Pro in Winter
The Solarbank 3 Pro uses price fluctuations extremely cleverly: It charges electricity from the grid at low prices and supplies your home when prices rise - ideal in sun-poor winter. This way, you benefit from every tariff change.
1200W Bidirectional Charging Power
The Solarbank 3 Pro features an integrated bidirectional inverter with 1200W charging and discharging power. It stores electricity during low sun or negative tariffs and cleverly utilizes dynamic tariffs: charging at low tariffs, discharging at high tariffs – for maximum savings and long battery life.
Automatic Settings
Upon receiving the low power reminder, you can set Anker Intelligence™ with a single click to automatically charge your e-bike via smart plugs as soon as there is still power available in your household.
Manual Settings
After the reminder, you can activate various devices via a third-party smart app (e.g. Alexa or Apple Kit) to charge them during the reserve period.
Smart Strategy = Maximum Savings
In Smart mode, the Solarbank 3 Pro uses our in-house AnkerIntelligence to predict cloudy days and preferentially charges during off-peak hours at low tariffs. This way, cost-effective energy is available for peak times in the morning. In self-consumption mode, on the other hand, weather and energy demand are ignored: the storage unit fully discharges during the evening off-peak hours without leaving a reserve. On cloudy days with less solar energy, this leads to higher reliance on expensive grid power during morning peak times.
